This very small group of land developers is most interested in bringing safe and good drinking water to a few villages in the Western Central Region of Ghana(West Africa). If we are successful to do that much and help the people then we want to bring them a health clinic and a multi-room school. Photos of the village ocean frontage below.
This is the beach near Umbassa Village. This is so very true.....WATER WATER EVERY WHERE AND NOT A DROP TO DRINK. Many of these villages are full of the nicest people and they all have issues of society that are holding them back from economic development.
#1) lack of potable drinking water. Here at Umbassa you have a fishing village that suffers from lack of drinking water and they are on the Atlantic Ocean!!
#2) The next issue is lack of any reasonable medical care. NO MEDICAL CLINIC within a reasonable distance(a one day trip to nearest facility).
#3) No Village school. That is right there is no way a person who grows up in this village will become more then a craftsman that their mom or dad was to make their way through life. Put it short if your dad is a fisherman you will grow up to be a fisherman.
Some friends of mine and I are trying to change this life scenario. We want to develop a water project. Then give the village a medical clinic building and a way to pay the doctors & nurses. Last of all we want to give the village a school building so that all school class levels may be observed.
To do this effectively we need to raise at least $2 million in cash donations and perhaps $6 million in kind donations of various types.
