Butterfly Medical Respite Care Center will provide cost-effective, short-term medical and recuperative services to homeless men and women who do not require hospitalization but are far too sick to tolerate the stress of life in shelters or on the street. We will be a safety net for those homeless adults who need assertive, short-term management of their medical issues, but do not meet the criteria of other health facilities. We will provide shilled medcial and nursing care for patients with complex conditions like: chronic diseases, chemotherapy and radiation treatment , fractures, day surgery and other post-operative care and other trauma issues. We will be a 24/7, 365 days a year facilities. We also, will service 3 meals a day. The funding will be used to help furniture a 54 bed facilities with the necessary equipment, etc.
