Rather than doing the traditional ″Swim-a-thon″ this year, we are ″Swimming 2 the Sea″. Donations made from our kickoff date (Feb 7th) until our official start swimming date (March 8th) will determine which river system our team will follow out of Colorado.

More donations will mean less miles that the team will have to collectively swim to get to the ocean. Each swimmers yards will be added up nightly and applied to our total. Once we start (March 8th), donations can help make the swimming easier by providing rapids or swift water. Lack of donations will bring us challenges, such as Butterfly Canyon, a night or two of just butterfly, or the Distance Desert, where we might get lost doing endless yards for a week. In the end, we will have a beach party to celebrate the accomplishment.
