Our pastor Victor Mares was a awesome person that was on fire for God. Everything he would do was for the glory of God. He had a dream to build a bigger church and reach more souls for christ. The project started in 2000 and projected to be finished in 2002. In June of 2001, while in side the new building, Rev. Victor Mares was on a ladder figuring out measurements when all of a suddden he lost his balance and fell back. The accident caused a severe blow to his head that lead him to pass away that same day. The bible says that the sheep recognize the voice of the pastor. At the time we had 200 plus members and the inability to hear his voice caused sadness and seperation among the church. His dream has standed still and no one has worked on it unitl now. We the youth of Templo Bethel want to Finish his dream. We may not know how to build a church but we know how to raise money to contract someone who does know the job. Although we would still like to be part of the building even if it means bringing meals and water to the people working. We would appriciate any donation that is giving to Templo Bethel.
