I have had type one diabetes for 39 years. I have been on dialysis for the past four years and have developed complications due to diabetes and dialysis. I am trying to raise money to take the long awaited trip to China to recieve a stem cell transplant. My daughter recently gave birth and we have the cord blood stored in Arizona, but the United states has not yet started even to research stem cell transplantation. China has. I would like for my family to remember me as being happy and laughing. Not in constant pain and crying. Can you please help? My name is David and I am Joy's older brother. I have recently come back in contact with my family and I am also a dialysis patient. It would mean the world to me if anyone could help to make sure my sister and her babies can live a longer and better life. If there is anything anyone can do to help, I would personlly, greatly appreciate it. I'm just a good ole georgia boy looking out for my girls.
