Protect Ariel from further abuse

Description:
In April, 2008, 4 yr old Ariel told her mother that her daddy was sexually abusing her. The abuse was confirmed when Ariel was examined at the Emergency Room. The abuse was confirmed a second time by the Sex Crimes Division of the Police Dept. and CPS. Ariel and her mom left Ariel's daddy, who her mother had been happily married to for 16 yrs. Ariel's daddy was charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a child, was arrested and spent 1 night in jail. The Assistant D.A. later presented the case to the Grand Jury for indictment. The Asst DA did not allow Ariel or her mother to be present at the Grand Jury. Later, the Asst DA told the mother he did not present all the evidence because he was saving it for trial. The Grand Jury did not indict Ariel's dad due to lack of evidence, and the Asst DA refused to re-present the case to the the Grand Jury with the unused evidence. Ariel's mother is now going through the Civil Courts in an effort to protect her little girl who is now 6 yrs old, but the expenses have now exceeded $40,000.00 and continue to rise. Ariel continues to be in counseling, and has had 3 surgeries . Her daddy is free and is trying to get unsupervised access to her. The civil trial has been rescheduled 4 times. This next trial date was October 18, 2010, but as of October 11,2010, the trial was moved to January 31, 2011. Since the case is now going through the civil court system, the mother is responsible for the cost of the witnesses to testify regarding the sexual abuse. If the mother does not have the financial means for the witnessess, there will be no witnesses, and Ariel's daddy will get unsupervised access. Please donate and help keep Ariel safe. Thank you and God Bless You!!!!!
