A Timber Wolf Webkinz for Jordan

Hello and Thank you for the taking the time to check this out!! Jordan is 9 yrs old and has type 1 insulin dependent diabetes and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.

She has had a really tough summer with a major arthritis flare up. She currently has active arthritis in both knees, both ankles, both wrists, both hips, 1 finger, and her neck. She has not been able to do activities she normally could because of this and she is in pain daily.

This week she had an appointment with her rheumatologist and had her first joint injection without sedation for the worst joint. She is starting on Methotrexate and Enbril shots each week in addition to the 4 shots a day she currently gets for her diabetes. Both of these shots tend to be more painful and burn. She will need labwork done again in 4 weeks and will go back to the Dr. in 6 weeks where she may have more joint injections depending on her X-ray results.

Jordan is a great kid with a good heart but this is very overwhelming to her. I have offered to reward her cooperation with the new shots, labs, etc. She would like a Timber Wolf Signature Webkinz. I told her I would look into but when I did, I found they are about $120 and we just cannot afford that on top the of the expense of the travel to Duke Children's Hospital.

She is really great kid and will understand if she cannot have this but I would really like for her to have something special. So if you would like to see her have a special gift to know that people care about what she goes through everyday you can donate a little bit to this fundraiser and help us make this happen for her.

Also, just so you know I have set the fundraiser goal for the minimum this site allows. We are also saving towards a notebook for Jordan as she is homeschooled and the notebooks are the smallest and lightest of the laptops. So any money collected over the cost of the webkinz will go toward her notebook for her school work which will be about $300.
